Doom II And Quake Live Storming On To Xbox LIVE Arcade

News just in from QuakeCon in Texas tells us that Quake Live and Doom II will be heading to the Xbox Live Arcade!  Boom!

This is big news for me as I am a huge fan of the Doom series, and I am sure most of you out there are too – I mean c’mon that game revolutionized blood and gore in gaming for goodness sakes!  The sequel to Doom, places you on Mars where a horde of demons have taken over the Mars Station.  You must fight your way through these vile demons and take back what is rightfully yours – or whoever built the place.  With new enemies and a new weapon you will be pumping round after round into pinky brutes in no time.

Quake Live is originally a browser based first person shooter where you fight your friends online, this was based on the phenomenon that was Quake III Arena back in 1999.  So this making an appearance on Xbox Live will surely get all your FPS senses tingling in anticipation.

No date has been confirmed as to when these games will hit the LIVE Arcade service, but keep an eye on our Twitter as once we know so shall you my friend.
