Lost Planet 2 Demo Coming Exclusively To Xbox LIVE Next Week

The Lost Planet 2 demo is coming next week folks so I suggest hording as much thermal energy as you can, because this demo is bound to get fan of the series shaking to the core.

On the 19th of August, Xbox LIVE Gold members will have be able to download the Lost Planet 2 co-op demo. Silver members will have the chance thrown their way on the 26th of August so no complaints because everyones a winner!

The demo takes players across the frozen lands where it will then lead to a huge boss fight against a G-Type Salamander Akrid! This is where the fun begins as up to four players can square off against this enormous beast with a host of weapons which are scattered around the boss fight area. That’s not all as the beauty of this fight is this: there is no singular way of killing the Salamander. You can take it down in a variety of ways from chopping its limbs off, to actually getting swallowed by the colossus and fighting your way from the inside! How is that for some awesome sounding gameplay? Rob likes!!

There are also a few new additions to game play such as the dash ability which enables players to sprint for short distances, as well as the ability to share thermal energy with your injured team mates. This is shaping up to be a worthy sequel to the much appreciated Lost Planet!

So to round up: the Lost Planet 2 demo is coming exclusively to Xbox LIVE and will be available form the 19th of August for Gold Members, and on the 26th of August for Silver members.
