New MadWorld Gameplay Rocks Your EVERYTHING Off

As a bit of an early Valentines’ gift, IGN recently posted a new gameplay video featuring Sega and Platinum Games’ upcoming Wii exclusive title MadWorld.  A grueling, uncensored look at this over-the-top brawler from the creators of the PS2’s excellent yet overlooked God Hand, this video serves only to reinforce the fact that while the Wii might be starving for quality software as badly as the PSP, every once in a while a ray of hope will shine down.  Watch, laugh, and enjoy.  Of course, this video is for gamers over the age of 17 only…so if you’re too young to have seen Terminator 2 when it was new, go watch some more Spongebob episodes and leave the chainsawing to the big kids.

I’m particularly a fan of Sega’s choice to hire Futurama’s John DiMaggio and Whose Line is it Anyway’s Greg Proops to play the commentators.  An excellent finishing touch on a game that already sold itself to me on pure concept.  MadWorld launches exclusively on the Wii on March 10, 2009.
