Cataclysmic New Add On For World Of Warcraft

As you are bound to know by now, the rumors were confirmed at BlizzCon when Blizzard unveiled the new World Of Warcraft expansion Cataclysm, and as the name suggests, it promises to be an earth-shattering upgrade.  Literally.

Apparently the new expansion will “very literally change the face of Azeroth as you know it.” according to Blizzard’s Chris Metzen.

As well as these world changing events, Cataclysm also introduces two new races into the game. Goblins, who’ll be joining the Horde, and The Worgen, who will become part of the Alliance.

There will be new class/race combination’s to keep longtime WoW fans happy such as the Troll Druid, and Tauren Paladin which have been spotted thus far. There’s also a new profession being added in as well called Archaeology, which will see gamers digging up some of Azeroth’s past presumably in some fashion more interesting than on Time Team. Oh, the level cap has been upped to 85, so hopefully you are excited for more endless grinding, grinding, grinding as I’m sure that there is plenty to look forward to.
