Xbox Live Marketplace Scores an NHL 2010 Demo

Are you a fan of the NHL?  Are you ALSO a subscriber to Xbox LIVE Gold?  If so, then hop onto the Marketplace and get downloading, because a demo of EA Sports’ NHL 10 has just been released.

The newly-released demo gives NHL fans a good slice of hockey action with two new game modes; Battle For The Cup mode throws you straight into the action by putting you in the third period of Game 7 of the legendary match between Detroit and Pittsburgh in the battle for the Stanley Cup.  This mode features team intimidating, playable injuries and line-matching, making it the more “simple” of the two modes.  The second game mode in the demo is called Be A Tough Guy; in this mode you play as the “enforcer” for your favorite team. Your job is to protect team mates, keep the offense strong, and even fight when necessary.

The demo for NHL 10 is available now for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers only, but it will also be available for Silver account holders, as well as Playstation Network, on August 27th.
