Champions Online Lifetime Memberships Back On Sale

Want a second chance at Champions Online’s lifetime membership promotion?  Well the once sold out promotion is now back! But you better hurry, it’s a limited time offer!

Retailing at a $60 semi-annually membership or just $200 for a completely subscription-less experience, these payment plans are going like hot cakes in Alaska.  But, the promotion was halted yesterday when Cryptic Studios‘ came out to say that they were no longer selling either their month or lifetime subscription plans due to overwhelming demand. The initial plan was to sell the special pricing point til the end of August.

But due to public demand, the Champions Online developer has decided to return to their original plan and offer the aforementioned special payment plans, but only until August 31st so act fast if you want one.

It’s hardly a surprise these plans are so popular as with the monthly subscriptions retailing at $15 a month, the unlimited package pays for itself in little over a year.  Not to mention all the extras that come with the unlimited membership such as extra character slots, an in-game action figure and there was this little something about gaining access to a closed beta for the upcoming MMO based on little known series called “Star Trek”.  Anyone ever hear of this series before?  Surely that couldn’t of had any influence here at all.  No sir.  None at all.
