Katamari Forever Gameplay Footage is Wet And Weird

Katamari Forever launches in the US in just a few short weeks.  With a demo on the Japanese PSN and a series of progressively weirder trailers unleashed in Japan, American Katamari fans might feel a bit left out.  No longer.  

Last night, G4 aired a special 10-minute long gameplay walkthrough of the quirky PS3-exclusive ball simulator.  In this video, Namco Bandai showed off a small selection of the stages contained within Forever, as well as a small sampling of the new power-ups, maneuvers, and stage rules exclusive to the new version of the game.  Give it a look.

Really, the entire game should be self-explanatory at this point.  If you have a PS3 and enjoy the world-destroying puzzle action of Katamari, there’s no reason not to pay attention.  Katamari Forever hits September 22nd.
