GRIN’s Final Fantasy/Fortress Still Under Development?

Apparently so according to Games Industry who state that the title is indeed is still in development by publisher Square Enix.

Sources close to both GRIN and Square Enix have revealed that the game, codenamed Fortress, was initially signed off in Tokyo last year and was central to the collapse of the Swedish developer. Square, since then, have apparently taken the project off GRIN after only six months of development due to concerns over quality issues.

If that is indeed the case can we expect an announcement regarding the future of the title at this weeks Tokyo Game Show?  There’s also the possibility that the new acquisition to the Square Enix family, Eidos, may end up taking over development duties.  Who knows?  You can read the rest of the article over at Games Industry by following the link below.
