Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Demo Goes Live

For the past few weeks, the multiplayer demo for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has been limited solely to those who preordered the game through specific retailers.  That changes today.  Effective now, the demo is available on the PSN in both the US and Europe; weighing in at a hefty 1.3GB, it includes a number of improvements over the earlier beta distributed alongside inFAMOUS in June.  These improvements include several more maps and stages for the co-op mode, as well as access to the game’s Cinema Mode, which allows gamers to create their own replay videos and even machinima without having to resort to video editing tools or software.

While this demo does not include any new glimpses of the game’s single player campaign, it would appear that it offers more than enough content to make the wait until the game’s October 13th release date just a little bit easier to bear.
