Assassins Creed II Short: Lineage

Ubisofts Assassins Creed II short movies begin their crawl across the Internet in glorious high definition via YouTube and we have it right here for you to enjoy.  This installment is a little over fourteen minutes long and shows us how the story behind Assassins Creed II begins with the assassination of ……you’ll have to watch it for yourself.  Needless to say there are some classic Batman-esque moments such as Ezio’s father, Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, suiting up for a jaunt across the rooftops of Renaissance Italy.

An interesting point to note is that the short was produced by Ubisofts in house digital effects studio Hybride Technologies, who were  the team behind the stunning visual feat 300.  Great work.
