Half-Minute Hero Demo Coming To PSN
It looks like some clock-challenging RPG action is heading your way as Rising Star Games are giving PSP owners a demo of the upcoming Half-Minute Hero on February 4th via the PlayStation Network! For those not in the know, at the start of each level a Dark Lord places a new obstacle in the way of the Hero’s progress. Sounds tough? Well it gets worse because while puzzles are solved, you must also level up to ‘You > Evil’ status to stand a chance of defeating the Hero’s nemesis. Levelling and puzzle solving? Sold!
To quote from the press release: “A cut-down version of the full game, this downloadable demo will allow players to enjoy a several seconds of Half-Minute Hero action. Oh, we’re joking: the demo boasts a selection of missions from the final game, each showcasing a different type of challenge from this innovative quick-fire RPG.”
Oh, those jokers. With the full game due to hit retail on 12th February 2010, exclusively on PSP, you can expect plenty to keep you occupied with over 100 missions, multiplayer options and over 20 hours of gameplay. Martin Defries, managing director of Rising Star Games says that the game is “truly the most innovative game on the PSP today.” When you think about the competition for Half-Minute Hero on the platform he might well be correct in saying so.
