Xbox LIVE Canceled ….For The Original Xbox
Microsoft have finally heard the calls of beleaguered Xbox LIVE users…They’re canceling the Xbox LIVE service for the original black and green console which is probably the best advancement of the service since Xbox 360 launched in 2005!
This morning Larry Hyrb, or Major Nelson, posted on his official blog that Microsoft are discontinuing the service as of April 15th, a decision which was not made lightly he adds. The reason for the discontinuation? In order to add more features they needed to “make changes to the service that are incompatible with our original Xbox v1 games.” Simply put, the people who want more than 100 friends on their Xbox LIVE account couldn’t do so because of the limitations of the original console.
You can read the rest of the details here but I for one feel that this is one of the key developments of the Xbox 360 since it launched five years ago and it has the potential to change everything for the service.

There’s no way in hell anyone has over 100 friends who they actually currently play games with online.
If they make a halo 2 for the 360 that can go online i won’t mind
