“Gardening Mama” Blossoming In Your Yard This May!

Today ’505 Games’ announced that the highly anticipated next chapter in their successful ‘Mama’ brand, Gardening Mama will launch on 1st May across Europe. Developed by the oddly titled Cooking Mama Ltd studio, Gardening Mama will be available only for the Nintendo DS.

In this latest title players are tasked with digging soil, plant seeds and harvest crops to turn their simple plots into a garden paradise – like Viva Pinata but without the chocolate! To reward players, strong performance unlocks rare plants, fruits and vegetables, as well as ornamental objects such as swings, benches, flower pots and garden gnomes for decoration. There are over 28 different plants to unlock and grow via a host of fun and accessible mini games! It’s also been confirmed to support wireless multiplayer for up to 4 players.

Gardening Mama, as if you didn’t know, is from the same developer as the Cooking Mama series of games – a title which has sold over one million copies already! I imagine that this is on my niece’s ‘Most Wanted’ list – wonder what she will make of it!
