Extended Footage Shows How the Dark Knight Cleans House

During GDC, Rocksteady Studios and Eidos released a short video showing off some of the cooler features of their upcoming game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Now they’ve released a longer video. Check it out after the jump.

Batman games have, quite frankly, never been good. Even the few exceptions to this rule were never good Batman games so much as they were side scrolling action titles. Developers have just never been able to nail the feeling of being the Caped Crusader. It’s always too much punching, and never enough detective work. Rocksteady’s  entry seems like it will change that around. In this video the “Silent Knight” challenge mode is shown off. The player needs to utilize all of the tools Batman has at his disposal to quietly eliminate a number of the Joker’s goons. Take a look:
