Meet The Staff: Kapil Bhatt

Hi, I’m Kapil, also known as The Dark Overlord of Supremacy.  Yes, I did make that title up myself – I’ve also named my hands and my steed.  Don’t ask; they were split second decisions and I was rather bored.  I’m a student studying Games Design – the first of my circle to actually follow their dream.  I am highly passionate about games to a point many would say it’s an obsession and an addiction.

My life almost completely revolves around games – actually, scratch that.  As time goes on, my time spent playing games decreases as life takes priority.  I regret nothing though, since I’ve met the love of my life and am more than content to spend my days with her.  Before I started designing and going more into the “behind the scenes” side of games, I used to be an avid gamer.  That’s where the addiction kicked in – I played so much I started to get paid to play.  That means I used to be a professional gamer, but my thoughts on that will become more than clear.  I will encourage others that want to do it, but for myself I feel that it sucks the fun out of a game that you love.

My aim here at One Last Continue is to bring an alternate method to analysing games and writing posts.  I’ll be exploring my progress with game development, giving an insight into the art of games design, and critically tearing video games apart, limb by limb.  Yes, I like to keep my imagery nice and vivid.
