Official Street Fighter IV European Championship Announce!

France! Germany! Italy! Spain! UK! Street Fighters ASSEMBLEEEEE!!!!

Capcom has announced that it has joined forces with Xbox 360 in order to find the Street Fighter IV champions of these listed countries. More details after the jump!In this tournament there’s the chance for you to be crowned the, *deep breath*, Ultimate European Street Fighter Supreme Master! Of course it goes without saying that with fame comes what’s described as ‘amazing and unique prizes’.

Making use of the recently released free ‘Championship mode’ update for Street Fighter IV, you can truly test yourself against ‘the best’ on LIVE…best 14 year old griefers that is! The new mode will be available to all SFIV players through a free update through your console.

This has the sounds of logistical nightmares but entering the tournament is fairly simple actually. Simply give Capcom your credit card contact details and XBOX Live Gamertag and they’ll track your progress via the leaderboards; IRegistration is open to all Street Fighter players on Xbox LIVE from the 17 th of April until the 17 th of May, and can be done through this link.

Oh yeah, prizes! The top 30 Grade Points scoring players will be invited to an exclusive live final in their respective country to be held on the weekend of 30/31 st May. National champions will be sent on (all expenses paid) to a secret European location for the Euro final weekend 13 th/14 th June.
