You’ve waited long enough.  We reported on this news this weekend, but your patience has finally been rewarded.  That’s right, the landmark PS1 RPG, Final Fantasy VII, has finally been added to the Playstation Store.  Starting off the first night of Sony’s week of E3 updates, Final Fantasy VII was announced for the PSN this afternoon during Sony’s press conference.  It costs $9.99, which is a stark contrast from the price of the Japanese version, which retails for closer to $15.  I really don’t need to say anything else, do I?  If you’re a fan of Final Fantasy, or even just RPGs in general, you probably should just go start downloading this right now.  I already have.

OMG I have to download this now. Although I would have liked a remake and update, these are indeed good news.

As thankful as I am that this is now available. I still have to wonder just what took soo long? Having FFVII on the NA & Euro PSN Store seemed like a no-brainer for Sony; an easy way to generate even more income on the title. When it finally arrived on the Japanese PSN, I scratched my head again at Sony for not making it available in more markets. But the good news is that, for those who STILL don’t have this title, it can be easily downloaded.
