Famitsu Confirms Metal Gear Solid Rising for PS3
It’s no big surprise to hear, but this week’s issue of Famitsu has swooped down from the heavens to clarify the exclusivity of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Which is to say, the non-exclusivity of MGS Rising. Originally announced as a 360 game (but, suspiciously, not as an exclusive title) at Microsoft’s press conference, Metal Gear Solid: Rising has been a question on many gamers’ minds even despite the massive swathe of new announcements hitting day after day.
Despite confirmation from Microsoft’s own John Schappert and Sony’s Jack Tretton that the game is multiplatform, some people didn’t believe it. Well, hopefully the Famitsu listing of the title as a multiplatform game on both Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 will clear things up for both sides, and allow gamers on both sides of the console lines to appreciate Kojima Productions’ latest Metal Gear game without fanboy judgments clouding the air.

actually it proves nothing. nice try though.
Great news! I was worried that this game might end up being time exclusive or worst, exclusive to the 360.
Really? I’d like to think that the largest Japanese gaming magazine out there knows a bit more than you do.
@Phil Caron – I think we just need to wait for a final confirmation from Konami and all the non believers will see.
Who fucking cares?
