Konami Promises a Week of Metal Gear Solid Announcements

For those of you who may not have been paying attention, this past Friday (June 12th) was the one year anniversary of the release Metal Gear Solid 4. Konami sure remembers, and they’ve got a whole week of celebration planned. 

The Japanese publisher announced this afternoon that, in celebration of the game’s first year on shelves, they’ll be announcing new Metal Gear-related news every day this week, including game updates, announcements, and more.  Could we see the first real trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Rising?  Perhaps the constantly-begged-for Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch?  Or will it just end up being new maps for Metal Gear Online once again?  Stay tuned over the course of this week, where we’ll be bringing you all the Metal Gear your stomach has room for.  Hopefully your name isn’t Johnny Sasaki.
