Japan Time: Steambot Chronicles 2 Is (Somehow) Still Alive

bumpy-tro-2Announced at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show, Bumpy Trot 2, the Playstation 3-exclusive sequel to the PS2 game known in the States as Steambot Chronicles, has been subject to a relatively quiet production.  It resurfaced with a trailer at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show and then promptly went dark, leading many gamers to wonder if it had been cancelled.  However, Irem’s official site for the game was updated this morning with new screenshots.  Still no word on when, or if, this title will be released, but as a fan of the original game, I’m glad to see that it’s still alive.

  1. Having never heard of this until earlier today I can honestly say it looks beautiful and with a name like Bumpy Trot I’ll keep an eye out in the future!
