Champions Online Given Mid-August Open Beta
According the Champions Online Daily News, we’re likely to see an Open Beta begin “slap bang in the middle of August”. In a news story posted today, Colin, one of the site’s writers, revealed the information. Apparently, he was able to get some face time with the Cryptic team at their offices to conduct some interviews, and noticed the tentative Beta date scrawled on a white board.
Lending credence to Colin’s claim is the fact that the Champions Online site actually links to his article on the matter.
The closed beta is underway now, and Champions Online is slated for a September 1st release on the PC and Xbox 360.
