Star Wars: The Old Republic Site Updated

A couple of new additions hit the Star Wars: The Old Republic site this week.

If you count yourself as a Star Wars fan, and haven’t swung by Bioware’s website for their upcoming MMO yet, you’re really missing out. In addition to all sorts of tidbits about classes and gameplay mechanics, the site explores the setting and storyline being developed for the upcoming game.

The Holonet allows you to get a sneak peak at some of the game’s locations and characters. The Galactic Timeline is a series of videos that gives you an overview of the events leading up to the game’s major plot (narrated by Lance Henriksen, for the love of God!). And then there’s “The Threat of Peace”, the comic being released online that’s already up to it’s tenth issue. I wish more MMOs enjoyed this level of devotion to storytelling.
