East India Company Demo Sets Sail!

Just a heads up for all you PC strategy gamers out there.  Today a demo hits for East India Company from strategy giants Paradox Interactive.

The demo takes place between the years 1650 and 1660 and will give you strategy fanatics a chance to get your hands on the trading and naval combat action that features in the game.  Kicking off with with players having access to some ports and fleets, you’ll automatically be able to compete for the game’s main trading items.  But that’s not all folks, you will also have two naval battle scenarios to take part in.  These scenarios will give you the opportunity to jump right into the heart of battle at sea and try out some nitty gritty ocean warfare which sounds pretty awesome actually!

East India Company is available now via digital distribution channels.  The game will be available from all good game retailers on the 14th of August. You can download the demo here.

Disclaimer:  The combat in this game will not be like that seen in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
