Batman Arkham Asylum Demo Hits August 7th

Word has just reached us that the demo for Batman: Arkham Asylum, published in the United Kingdom by Eidos Interactive, will be available for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Games For Windows LIVE on August 7.

The Batman: Arkham Asylum demo opens as the The Joker gets put back into confinement at Arkham Asylum.  Things then, as always, go tits up when Mark Hamill The Joker sets Arkham Asylum’s occupants loose upon Batman. The demo offers gamers a taste of the FreeFlow combat system, the “cunning stealth” of the Invisible Predator mechanic, and the feeling of becoming the worlds greatest detective as they navigate Arkham Asylum’s imposing Intensive Treatment facility.  Sounds like fun, guess it’ll be a good chance to check the title out pre-gamescom where we hope to get our hands on the final product.

The full game will be available at retail stores nationwide in the United Kingdom beginning August 28th.
