Super Star Wars Rated By ESRB For Virtual Console

In a very exciting move the ESRB has rated the classic Super Nintendo title Super Star Wars for an upcoming release on Nintendo’s Virtual Console service.

As folks might remember from the glory days of the 16-bit era, Super Star Wars was released by Lucasarts and Sculptered Software in June 1992 to critical acclaim, followed by Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in 1994, and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in 1995.  No doubt both these titles will soon follow their older sibling onto the service but without a release date for SSW, we can only assume it will hit around gamescom, you know with Lucasarts being big into re-releasing old titles and all that jazz.
